What we do

Crypto market data in one place.

Alpha Finance collects live data from exchanges and data providers such as Coinglass, CoinGecko and DefiLlama, and shows it in one terminal. We show figures as the source publishes them, and we say so wherever we calculate something ourselves. The methodology lists the feed behind each dashboard.

How we work

Our standards.

Every figure comes from a named feed Live data comes from the exchange or provider that publishes it, and the panel shows when it was read. The methodology names the feed behind each dashboard. Reported figures are shown as published, without smoothing or adjustment. Where the data comes from → Estimates are labelled Where a source publishes an estimate, such as Coinglass's liquidation map, the dashboard says whose model it is and what goes into it. What we calculate ourselves is listed in the methodology. The rules → Free, funded by affiliate links There is no paywall. Some links to exchanges pay us a referral fee. Those links are disclosed and have no effect on scores, rankings or coverage. The disclosure → Fact checked and corrected A named fact checker reviews each research article before it is published, and again when the facts change. Errors are corrected on the page, with a note. Mike Eli

Founder & publisher

Mike founded Alpha Finance and owns Block Media Pty Ltd, the Sydney company that publishes it. A former crypto lawyer, he was Head of Growth at Independent Reserve and is an early crypto adopter, venture investor and contributor to DeFi protocols and blockchains. He has the final say on what is published and corrected.
