What an RWA perp is

A perpetual future is a contract that tracks a price without ever expiring. Crypto exchanges built them for Bitcoin, and the same design now tracks things that are not crypto at all: single stocks, equity indices, gold, oil and currencies. Traders call these real-world-asset perps, or RWA perps. You do not own the share or the ounce of gold. You hold a position whose value moves with its price, settled in a stablecoin.

On Hyperliquid these markets are not run by the exchange itself. Under a scheme called HIP-3, outside teams known as deployers stake HYPE to launch their own perpetual markets on Hyperliquid's order book and matching engine. Each deployer chooses what to list, sets the leverage limits and supplies the oracle price the contract follows. This page lists every deployer's markets together and names the deployer on each row.

How to read the table

Funding is what keeps a perp near its reference price. When the contract trades above the oracle, longs pay shorts, and the reverse. Hyperliquid charges it hourly. The annual figure assumes the current rate holds for a year, which it will not, so read it as a gauge of how crowded one side is, not as a yield.
Premium is the gap between the mark price and the oracle. A stock perp trades all weekend while the stock does not, so the premium is where out-of-hours opinion shows up.
Open interest is the value of contracts currently open. It shows where the money sits. Volume shows where it moved today.

What is different from a crypto perp

The underlying market closes

Shares trade for a few hours on weekdays. The perp trades every hour of the week. When the underlying market is shut, the oracle has less to go on, liquidity is thinner, and the price can gap when the real market reopens. Each deployer documents how its oracle behaves out of hours, and those rules differ.

The deployer matters

The deployer controls the oracle and the market's parameters. That is a dependency a Bitcoin perp on a large exchange does not have. Two deployers can list the same ticker with different oracles, leverage and liquidity, which is why the same stock can appear twice in the table.

It is not the asset

A stock perp carries no dividends, no votes and no claim on the company. It is a leveraged bet on a price. In many countries retail access to this kind of product is restricted, and it is your responsibility to know the rules where you live.

What are RWA perps?

Perpetual futures that track a real-world asset such as a stock, an index, gold, oil or a currency. They never expire, they are settled in a stablecoin, and holding one gives exposure to the price but no ownership of the asset.

Do I own the stock if I buy a stock perp?

No. A stock perp pays no dividends and carries no shareholder rights. It is a contract whose value follows the share price, usually with leverage.

Why does the same ticker appear more than once?

Hyperliquid lets separate teams, called deployers, run their own markets. Two deployers can list the same stock with different oracles, leverage limits and liquidity. The table names the deployer on every row.

What happens when the stock market is closed?

The perp keeps trading. The oracle has less information to work from, liquidity is usually thinner, and the price can gap when the underlying market reopens. How the oracle behaves out of hours is set by each deployer.

How fresh is the data?

The page reads Hyperliquid's API directly and refreshes every minute. The header shows the time of the last reading, in UTC.
